Celebrating Our First Year at Blue Diamond Recruitment

This month marks an important milestone for Blue Diamond Recruitment as we proudly celebrate our first anniversary, following a successful first year since launching the business in March 2025.

Founded by Amy and Dan Court, Blue Diamond Recruitment was established with a clear vision: to deliver a professional, ethical and relationship-led recruitment service across the construction and built environment sectors. Built on over 20 years of combined industry experience, the business has quickly earned a reputation for its personable and ethical approach, strong network and commitment to long-term partnerships.

Operating across key disciplines including land, planning, commercial, design, technical and construction, we support house builders, developers, land promoters, consultancies and associated organisations in securing high quality talent.

One of the standout moments of our first year was being recognised as Start-Up Business of the Year at the Birmingham Awards. This achievement reflects the strong foundations we have built and the positive impact we have made within the industry.

Reflecting on this milestone, Director Amy Court shares:

“Reaching our first anniversary is something we’re incredibly proud of. Launching the business was a big step for us both, but the support we’ve received from our network and the relationships we’ve built over the past decade has been testament to the success of our first year. We’ve always believed in taking a personal, ethical and honest approach to recruitment and it’s great to see that resonate with both clients and industry professionals.”

Director Dan Court adds:

“Our first year has been incredibly rewarding, not just in terms of growth but in the relationships we’ve strengthened and new partnerships we’ve formed. Exceeding our targets in year one and being able to donate over £3,000 to St Giles Hospice has been a real highlight for us. We’ve focused on building a business grounded in trust, transparency and consistency and we’re excited to continue that journey as we move into our second year.”

As part of our continued growth, we have recently become members of the Lichfield & Tamworth Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to expanding our network, building new relationships and engaging further with the local business community.

Alongside our business growth, we remain committed to giving back. A percentage of our placements is donated to St Giles Hospice, a cause that is very close to our hearts.

As we enter our second year, our focus remains on building upon the strong foundations we have created, continuing to connect people, create opportunities and support the evolving needs of the built environment sector.
